This page describes the StillSwitch website at stillswitch.app. The Mac app and this website have different jobs, and different data flows.

The Mac app

StillSwitch processes window previews locally on your Mac. Screenshots, window titles, and switching history are not sent to PostHog. The website analytics described below are not installed in the Mac app.

Website pageviews

We use PostHog, hosted in the United States, to count pageviews. We send the public page path, an event timestamp, SDK version, and a temporary random identifier. Unknown page paths are grouped as “/404”. URL query strings, fragments, referrers, and page content are excluded.

We do not enable session replay, automatic click tracking, form capture, heatmaps, or person profiles. Analytics identifiers are kept in page memory only. This integration does not store them in cookies or browser storage, and does not recognize returning visitors across page loads.

Browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals are excluded from this analytics integration. Blocking analytics does not affect the website.

Hosting and network requests

Cloudflare hosts this website. Like other network requests, requests to Cloudflare and PostHog expose connection information, including your IP address, to the receiving service. We disable IP-based geolocation enrichment for our pageview events. See the Cloudflare privacy policy and PostHog privacy policy for information about those services.

As StillSwitch develops

This is a pre-release introduction. There is no purchase, account, or email signup form on this website. We will update this notice when the website’s data collection changes.
